September 15th, 2007

Healing the Earth’s water with
sound and intention ~
A synchronized global event

PART 1: The Global OM
The World's Largest Synchronized Sound Event

At 4pm PST on September 15th, 2007 millions of people across the world will unite their voices to create the world's largest synchronized Global OM, uniting over 350 Earthdance locations in 60 countries.

This magic moment will be the highlight of the 11th annual Earthdance International peace festival, and will be the first time in recorded history that global participants will attune to a special specific frequency that is derived from the natural sound of the Earth itself (see below for more information).

PART 2 - H2Om (Honoring the Waters):
Healing the Earth’s Water with Sound & Intention

the gangesIn support of this the 2007 Earthdance International focus of "Honoring the Waters", The Global OM will be transmitted into the waters of several major rivers throughout the world via specially designed underwater speakers. These waterways include the Amazon, the Ganges, the Nile and the Mississippi. This gesture is our attempt to "homeopathically resonate" the Earth's water with our global intention of healing the water, and thus unite all life, on land and sea.

SPECIAL LAYTONVILLE INVITATION:

We are inviting all attendees of the Laytonville Festival to bring water from your local waterways to be blessed during this event. The waters will be combined, blessed and then redistributed to you so that you can return this blessed water back into the source from which you brought it.

“We Are All Water..
Water not only reacts to written words
but to music. . . .”
Yoko Ono

<< THE SYNCRONIZED GLOBAL OM >>
The H2Om project is an attempt to create the world’s largest synchronized global Om, which will take place on Saturday September 15th during the Earthdance international peace event. This year, the Earthdance “Prayer for Peace” will be followed by a unified global Om, as people across the world synchronize their voices with the intention of healing the Earth’s waters. To increase cohesiveness and provide a single, specific point of focus for the global community, the “Prayer for Peace” will be immediately followed by the recording of a fundamental tone (the specific human frequency of 125hz designed by Alex Theory Ph.D. and Dr. Patrick Flanagan), which will provide a foundation for participants to tune to. This note is also based on the Schumann Resonance, which is the consistent tone emitted by planet earth as discovered by Nasa.

In addition to this frequency that will be audible on land, we intend to transmit the same frequency (via specially designed under water speakers) to several major sacred rivers throughout the world (Amazon, Ganga, Nile, etc.) This gesture will be an attempt to “homeopathically resonate” the Earth’s water body with our global intention, and thus unite all life, both on land and sea.

In the coming months, we will have a new MP3 recording of the "prayer for peace" with the tone of the Global Om on our website, that you can download for free.

<< THE COMMUNITY WATER BLESSING >>
As part of our "honouring the waters" theme, we are also inviting all festival attendees to bring an offering of natural water from their local area (or travels) which they will add to a special "community urn" on site. At a designated moment during the festival the water will be blessed in a special ceremony by indigenous elders. The "urn" will also be placed on the stage in the middle of the main bowl and will become the "sacred centerpiece" for the community prayer for peace link up and global Om. The "urn" will also contain water from many of the world's sacred rivers, including the Ganges, The Nile, The Amazon, The Murray Darling in Australia and the Rhine in Europe. Offered by Native American elder, Agnus Baker Pilgrim, these "sacred waters", have been collected during her many years of travel across the planet.

At the end of the festival, attendees will be invited to take a sample of the "blessed water" back to their local water source, thus completing a cycle and affirming the intention of renewal and healing for the waters of our planet.

So please bring some natural water from your local area or from a sacred place you feel drawn to, and join us in the community ceremony of "honouring the waters".

<< WATER: THE FACTS >>
Since time immemorial, water has been one of the Earth’s most precious elements. It is essential to all known forms of life, and covers nearly 71% of the Earth's surface. Due to its depth, the Earth’s water encompasses about 300 times the habitable volume of the terrestrial habitats on our planet and contains the largest proportion of all life.

Just as our ancestors evolved within this primordial oceanic womb of the Earth, human life continues to grow in an almost identical environment, within the amniotic fluid of the womb. Even after we are born, water comprises 70% of the total mass of our bodies, and we carry it with us until the day we die.
It is an understatement to say that water is precious.

Because of overpopulation, mass consumption, misuse, and water pollution, the availability of clean water per capita is inadequate and shrinking as of the year 2006. Currently, about 1 billion people around the world routinely drink unhealthy water, and some 5 million deaths a year are caused by polluted drinking water. UNESCO's World Water Development Report (WWDR, 2003) indicates that, in the next 20 years, the quantity of clean water available to everyone is predicted to decrease by 30%.

<< THE MISSION >>
The only positive side to these catastrophic circumstances is the fact that environmental crisis may be acting as a catalyst for profound social change. Currently, we are being challenged to find new and sustainable ways to live on this planet. At this point, we have very little choice: either we adapt or we perish. This realization confirms that we are on the horizon of a new paradigm of consciousness; a time when we will harness the power of technology to heal the planet.

<< THE SCIENCE OF SOUND AND WATER >>
Evidence of this new paradigm is rapidly emerging in the field of environmental restoration. Many cities around the globe are using progressive technologies to clean the environment. In Europe, scientists are using sound waves to clean air pollution. Similar techniques can be used to affect the structure of water molecules, which are known to be highly receptive. Most commonly, factors such as heat, cold, and pressure, in addition to chemical methods (such as oxidation and camphor type additives), have been used to change the structure of water. However, in the last century, several discoveries have revolutionized this idea and opened the door to a whole new set of possibilities.

One of these discoveries, called “Cymatics”, was pioneered by a Swiss scientist named Hans Jenny. Cymatics, the study of wave phenomena, is typically associated with the physical patterns produced through the interaction of sound waves in a medium. By using specific frequencies, it is possible to create complex, replicable patterns in sand, water, and a virtually any particulate matter. One of Jenny's more complex experiments involved a spherical vibrating water droplet containing fine particles. By applying sound waves, these particles formed into a 3-Dimensional star (or dual) tetrahedron shape with surrounding circles similar to the one shown below. Many of the shapes produced by the application of Cymatics have similarities to snowflakes, sacred geometric patterns, traditional mandalas, and crop circle designs.

To the amazement of most scientists, the definition of liquid water has not yet been fully established and its atomic model is still incomplete. Any particular accumulation of liquid water can contain an almost limitless number of other molecules, so it can express a near infinite number of possible atomic configurations. This must be one of the reasons why it was chosen to be the supporting structure for the Matrix of life. Water's ability to fill up and fit any shape makes it the perfect material to provide the diverse forms required to transport living organisms around in space. All material objects are simply water held together in unique forms.

Some interesting research in Japan, conducted by Dr. Masaru Emoto, has suggested that water may be receptive to words, sounds, and thoughts in the environment. According to Emoto, water can receive information and store it for future use, much like the silicon used in computer chips. This theory has interesting implications for the uses of collective consciousness toward the global effort to restore harmony in the environment. Is it possible to harmonize the energy field of our planet by focusing our voices and intentions in a vast global effort.

<< THE PLANETARY TONE >>
Due to observations of the spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth's electromagnetic field spectrum, it has become apparent that the Earth emits a consistent frequency. This frequency, known as the Schumann Resonance, corresponds to approximately 7.8125hz and is created by the excitation of terrestrial stationary waves by lightning strikes.

Scientific analysis has confirmed that many species of animals are affected by the Schumann Resonance, including humans. Recent studies have identified the most common resonant frequency of the human voice to be 125hz. This frequency is an exact harmonic (16th octave) of the Schumann Resonance.

<< CONCLUSION >>
In the past, there have been several attempts to perform a “Global Om”. However, we believe the H2Om project will be the largest and most advanced attempt to date, uniting new paradigm science with a massive global audience. The H2Om project will also be supported by several major international peace organizations, including World Puja, James Twyman, and many more. This effort, in combination with the fact that we will be using a specific frequency, and transmitting this frequency throughout the entire planet, will make the H2Om event a truly unprecedented experience.

Since an initiative of this caliber has never been accomplished, the extent of the positive influence created by this event has yet to be determined. However, we believe that even a tiny dose of collective consciousness may help tip the scales in favor of global balance.

Regardless of the outcome, we are confident that by raising awareness about the need to preserve our precious natural resources of Water, we will take a step toward the betterment of our Earth’s environment, and improve the livelihood of countless future generations.

The Divine Comedy
hosted by Wavy Gravy Saturday Night (September 15) in the Diner Divine

Presenting for the second year at Earthdance - "The Divine Comedy" sessions, hosted by legendary activist clown Wavy Gravy with special guest Paul Krassner. Join us for a belly full of laughs, featuring two of the most respected counter-culture comics in the nation and feast on some delicious diner munchies supplied by Café Mam. This festival gem is not to be missed.

"Like the best of clowns, Wavy Gravy will make as big a fool of himself as is necessary to make a wiser man of you. He is one of the better people on earth."

-- Ron Rosenbaum,
Village Voice
Wavy Gravy has lived a life filled with excitement, adventure, and philanthropy. He was a part of the Beat movement in the late 1950s, hanging out in Greenwich Village with hipsters and folk singers like Paul Krassner, Lenny Bruce, and Bob Dylan. He was a comedian and a comic actor, working for a time at the Committee (San Francisco's equivalent to Chicago's Second City ). By 1966, he was one of Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters and living on a mountain top commune near L.A. called the Hog Farm. After a time, the Hog Farm took to the road with its members living in a fleet of converted school buses and traveling the country protesting the Vietnam War. Wavy Gravy achieved his first 15 minutes of fame when he declared from the stage at Woodstock, "What we have in mind is breakfast in bed for 400,000."

Wavy has filled his days with an endless list of benefits and worthy causes, including the Seva Foundation, Home Aid (for the homeless), Cowboys for Indians (for Native Americans), Blues Against Blindness and more. He also co-founded the legendary camp Winnarainbow for children with is wife Jahanara and has spent countless hours spent in children's hospital ward. He is addicted to helping people, and his enthusiasm is contagious.

The Los Angeles Times comments:

He has the uncanny ability to alter your perceptions permanently.

Paul Krassner calls himself an investigative satirist. Don Imus labeled him “one of the comic geniuses of the 20th century.” And, According to the Los Angeles Reader, “Krassner delivers 90 minutes of the funniest, most intelligent social and political commentary in town.” When People magazine called Krassner “Father of the underground press,” he immediately demanded a paternity test. His style of personal journalism constantly blurred the line between observer and participant.

He has been a guest on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher; on Air America Radio with Janeane Garofalo and with Marc Maron. He hosted his own radio call-in show in San Francisco. The San Francisco Examiner: “Krassner is absolutely compelling. He has lived on the edge so long he gets his mail delivered there.”

Awaken Our Shamanic Voices and Sacred Soul Purpose

presented by Akasa Teng

In the midst of accelerating changes happening at the multi-dimensional levels in our personal and planetary realities, shamanic wisdom and tools can help us realize our sacred soul purpose and our role as a divine living conduit connecting to heaven and earth. In this ceremonial workshop, we will use the ancient Shamanic Technique of Ecstasy, the shamanic vocalization to evoke the shamanic state of consciousness and connect to the Great Spirit. Based on the integration of many shamanic traditions including Taiwanese/Chinese shamanic lineage, Lakota tradition, Celtic shamanism, Amazonian tradition and more, we will enter a sacred ceremony and shamanic voice journey to clarify, reclaim and empower our individual and collective sacred soul purpose for the planetary healing, transformation and empowerment.

About the presenter: Akasa Teng, M.A. Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness, is a shamanic sound practitioner, universal sound ceremonialist and interfaith minister who uses shamanic techniques to raise individual and planetary vibrations. Akasa has shared her work internationally including conferences at Society for Shamanic Practitioners, The International Conference of the Study of Shamanism and Alternative Modes of Healing, in Oxford University, and the National Association for Humanity Education in U.C. Berkeley. Akasa recently completed a shamanic journey in the Amazon rainforest.

Rise to the Equation
A Special Audio-Visual presentation

Presented by Nassim Haramein

Nassim HarameinQuantum Scientist, Nassim Haramein shows us that his new all-encompassing theory seems to have parallels with ancient codes left in the world’s oldest documents and monuments. These include the Bible, the Koran, the Torah, the I Ching, the Mayan Tzolkn, and the ancient pyramids and temples around the world. Much like the path taken by Isaac Newton, Haramein’s theory was influenced by his exhaustive study of ancient civilizations, which revealed that they already possessed this knowledge and used it to accomplish many unexplained feats, such as building the Pyramids and constructing Stonehenge. Haramein’s work has far-reaching implications for all fields of scientific enquiry from theoretical physics, cosmology, quantum mechanics, biology, geology and chemistry, archaeology and anthropology as well as fundamental answers to the nature of consciousness.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Global Breathing
Through focused awareness of the breath, we can balance the vibration of our energy. When this concept is applied on a global level, we begin to see how restoring balance within ourselves assists in restoring balance throughout the global community. Yogis have long been aware of the close relationship the breath has with the body’s energy. In this class we will use that knowledge as the focal point for restoring balance to the planet, by beginning with balancing of our own energy vibrations.

Inner OM
This year’s “Global OM” theme at Earthdance is the inspiration behind this class. We will explore what can happen when we focus deeply on the sound of OM resonating within. Since all of our actions and thoughts shape our own vibration, we can spiritualize those vibrations to by using the mantra OM in our asana practice. In this class we will send waves of peaceful vibrations throughout the planet, by bringing more light and harmony into ourselves through the sacred sound of OM.

AcroYoga: Exploring Unity through Breath
Learn to move energy as a group and with a partner. Through contact yoga and flying, we will cultivate trust, connection, and playfulness together, by inviting breath into the body, expanding what we thought was possible. Show up with an open mind, a big heart, and joyful smile... All levels, no partner necessary.

"Melting into One" - Restorative Partner Yoga
Take a slow motion high dive, deep into a shared experience, with your breath and with a partner. Encourage openness in the body...Allow trust to grow...Create non-verbal communication...Together. In this class we'll flow through relaxing and nourishing poses, going further than we ever could alone. Bring a friend, or meet someone there! Open to all friendly spirits. Taught by Tyler Ryan Blank

Pawanmuktasana I (Unblocking the energy within)
Allowing the Pawan (Divine Wind, the breath and the vital force associated with it) to freely flow throughout the system is essential in accomplishing a sense of well-being, and most importantly, to gain and maintain good health. It is known that all energy blockages lead to illness and all illness implies a certain level of energy blockage.
This practice offers a set of very simple yet powerful exercises intended to unblock the energy reestablishing the natural flow. At the same time this practice provides an opportunity to reach a deeper contact with your body improving your knowledge of yourself.

Pawanmuktasana II ‘Shakti Bandha’ (or the unblocking of the creative energy)
Amongst the many manifestations that energy can have within the human being, the creative energy is in the base of our ability to produce art, express, relate, and most importantly, come up with coping strategies to adapt to life challenges. Any blockage at this level, will diminish our possibilities of experiencing a fulfilling life turning the many gifts we receive into ‘problems to be solved’. This practice offers a set of physical and breathing techniques along with visualizations intended to unblock the flow of creative energy within your system independent of whether the blockage is physical, mental or energetic.

Yoga for the Lower Back – or where the animal meets the dreamer
Beyond being the meeting place of the lower and upper parts of the body, the lower back is also the place where our lower self (our animal essence) meets with our emotional and mental aspects. This meeting is sometimes a conflicted one and the conflict is ‘lived’ in the lower back through misalignments and pain. The ‘Leaf’ (Patram Namaskar) is a series intended to work on the lower back by alternatively compressing and then releasing the pressure on the area. This alleviates possible congestion and resulting pain and offers a space to ‘connect’ with the area and the issues that it relates to.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS

Antonio Sausys (BA Psychology, MA Body-Oriented Psychotherapy) is a somatic health practitioner and yoga instructor specializing in one-on-one yoga therapy for people with chronic and acute medical conditions as well as emotional imbalance.

During his career, Antonio discovered a key correlation between modern
body-oriented psychotherapy and ancient yoguic teachings, integrating the best practices from both worlds. He applies specific yoguic applications working with individuals to create a “Yoga Sadhana”. This is a specific and personalized yoguic routine that best serves the individuals’ needs and abilities, integrating mind, body and spirit to fully embrace the experience of life.

He studied with Yoga masters and teachers such as Indra Devi, Swami Shankaradevananda, Swami Ekananda, Babashi Singh, Ram Dass, Swami Mairtreyananda and Larry Payne. He has continued his professional development with training in Foot Reflexology, Swedish Therapeutic Massage, the Degriefing Process and Reiki.

Antonio teaches and lectures at U.C. Berkeley, California Institute of Integral Studies, Alive and Well, Institute of Conscious Body Work, College of Marin, has been a faculty member at the International Yoga College and former Honorary Secretary of the International Yoga Federation for USA. He is a member of the World Yoga Council, the International Association of Yoga Therapy, Director of US Yoga Federation and the US Delegate of International Yogatherapy Association. He is the founder and Executive Director of ‘Yoga for Health’ the International Yoga Therapy Conference

Jonathan Gardener is the founder of Kaivalya Sangha, a non-profit organization that focuses on providing resources for individuals seeking to deepen their lives through focused intention on inner transformation. He feels blessed to have this format as a means for serving others, and sharing in the wealth of wisdom that yoga offers. In 2005, he lived and studied as a temporary resident of Ananda Village, one of the most successful spiritual communities in the world. Over the last several months he has written a book on yoga for the modern lifestyle, which includes his philosophy on using pure intention and integrity of action in all that we do in order to bring us closer to the Source. The foundation of his yoga practice is built on making all actions and breath an offering to the Divine, and that the intention and integrity behind those actions determines the degree of transformation which we can receive from techniques such a hatha yoga and meditation. Great influences in his teaching have come from Paramhansa Yogananda, B.K.S Iyengar, John Friend, John Schumacher, Richard Freeman, and Moses Brown. An essential piece of his own practice is Kriya Yoga meditation (as taught by Paramhansa Yogananda). He offers many blessings and light to all students of the sacred practice yoga.

Tyler Ryan Blank is one of the veteran teachers of AcroYoga, a form of flying partner yoga, thai massage, and acrobatics. His classes explore the union of body and spirit, with the earth, with a partner, and with one's self... Tyler is a certified bodyworker as well, having been trained in Breema Bodywork, Vibrational Healing, Matrix Energetics, Reiki, and is also a Reverend of Berkeley's Church of Divine Man. In Tyler's class, plan on a vast journey: into sound, into playfullness, into strength, and into surrender... Show up and find yourself... Alive. Wanna go up? Let's Fly...

This panel will explore the blossoming field of sound healing form a multidirectional perspective. It will provide an overview of sound healing techniques and modalities including toning, rhythm entrainment, binaural frequencies, and sympathetic resonance. Additionally, the panel will examine how sound has been used for healing throughout the ages, and take a look at modern techniques that are being used in medical clinics such as brainwave and heart rate modification, sound stimulation, facilitation of neurodevelopment, and creating changes in physiology.

About the presenters:

Patrick FlanaganDr. Patrick Flanagan is a futurist with deep encyclopedic knowledge of the applied sciences. At 11 years of age, he designed a missile detection system that was purchased by the Department of Defense. We are now in the time of prophecy, a time of great change. For the second year at Earthdance we welcome the "elders council", as they share their views on the alignment of prophecies from around the world. This panel will explore "prophecies" from an ancient to modern (scientific) perspective.

Topics that will be explored include:

  • What do the prophecies predict?

Financial Intimacy

Presented by Spencer Sherman and Anne Watts

Couples frequently report that money is a major difficulty in their relationship, often avoiding the topic altogether. Yet, in every relationship, money becomes an important part of the whole picture. What are your values, fears, hopes and habits around money? An increase in harmony, intimacy and net worth are available when couples learn to communicate their desires and fears and to honor their differences.

Spencer Sherman: Recognized as one of the top wealth advisors in the USA, he is the author of the forthcoming book from Doubleday Broadway, The Cure for Money Madness. He is also a contributing author, with Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Scott Peck, Thich Nhat Hanh, and others, to the The Marriage of Sex and Spirit, which won the award for best health/sexuality book of 2006.

Anne Watts: Anne’s life philosophies were strongly shaped by her experience growing up as the daughter of Alan Watts, well-known pioneer interpreter of Eastern religion and philosophy for the Western world. She is an internationally renowned counselor/facilitator and has been leading Love, Intimacy & Sexuality Workshops for the Human Awareness Institute since 1985.

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

* Please don't treat Kidlandia as a day care center. We encourage all parents to participate in the activities.

* Children can easily get lost. Please locate a good rendezvous point in the festival and let your child know where it is, in case they get lost. (The security booth is a great place).

* We will be placing wristbands with the names of parents on all young children. Please make sure you take your child to the box office or security booth for a band.

* Please be aware that the sound system on the Main Stage can be very loud and can hurt young children's ears. This is especially relevent for babies, who have fragile skulls that sound can penetrate. Earplugs are not sufficient protection.

* Don't forget those hats and sunscreen, especially for babies.

Paintings For Peace
Since 2002, Earthdance has been recreating an innovative media concept where live art meets live music.  During every musical performance on the main stage, artists capture the energy by creating spontaneous paintings alongside the bands.  These paintings are exhibited in a special gallery on site and will be sold to the public via a silent auction with 50% of the proceeds being donated to the Earthdance Foundation.
Nikki Anderson
Nikki Anderson is a 28 year-old artist from Santa Cruz, CA. Passionate about her art she also teaches art to youth at alternative education schools, juvenile hall, group homes, and at a community center in downtown Santa Cruz. She has been oil painting since the age of eight and continues to explore and express through painting, drawing and new mediums like jewelry, ceramics and photography. Nikki has a BA. in Fine Arts from UCSC with a focus in painting and drawing.
Matt Jones

Fishing, waves, love and of course good music have always been an energy that runs through my paintings. The most important ingredient in my art is getting out of the way of myself and channeling the universe through me, which is something I had to discover myself, I couldn't learn it in school. I consider myself a self taught artist with some inspiring teachers along the way. My stlye include everything from commissioned photo realism, portraits, landscapes trout art and my latest genre is Live Art in front of live music. I first participated in Paintings for Peace in 2004, at the Earthdance festival northern California.

Xavi Panneton
I feel Art has the power to heal. My intent is to create harmonious, colorful flowing forms and spaces that all interact with each other through a geometric language of creation formulas. These formulas are evident in cell structure, snow flakes, bubbles, honey combs, atoms, molecules, and beyond. Seeing large luminous paintings, depicting our source structural intention can help set us back into alignment. I see Art through the eyes that see the world around me. It is a world of unfathomable creation and magnitude. So, I see the creation of Art that attempts to reflect the true power and beauty of its own source. My ultimate goal is to create large scale works of art that blow open the new visionary horizons and remind people of how much beauty there is deep inside our battered hearts." Xavi creates in San Francisco, CA
Luke Brown

Luke Brown is an intrepid explorer, part of a new generation of visionaries recontructing the templates of culture as we know it. His art speaks of the spiritual mysteries in the human imagination. Mystical experiences, dreams, medicine journeys, and channelled lucid dialogues with the source of creativity itself, seem to guide and be guided by the colourful symmetries and living surfaces of his art. Much of his work emerges from a graceful synthesis of digital and painting mediums. Developing his work through mix and remix technologies, Luke is constantly redefining his style as a spiritual medium for growth. He is intent on mapping his hyperspatial experiences with utmost accuracy, with whichever medium seems best suited, as a form of multidimensional cartography.

His art has been shown internationally with such visionary heavyweights such as Alex Grey, HR Giger, Robert Venosa and Ernst Fuchs. He is currently a resident of the lush Elfinstone rainforest in BC Canada, one of an infinite number of parallel universes in which he resides within simultaneously.

Carey Thompson
Carey much of his inspiration exploring countless natural power spots and Mesoamerican sacred sites where he developed a keen interest in ancient cultures and their expression through the arts and cosmology. He currently resides in San Francisco, California where he now focuses on his artistic endeavors. Carey describes his work as holomorphic transmission vision crystals. The imagery channels through, sourced from the universal matrix, and crystallizes into form onto templates based on sacred geometry and other patterns of nature. Beginning usually with only a seed of intention, the color and form evolve unconsciously to create the finished art. Revealing the interconnectedness of all things is the primary intention of Carey's artwork.
David Heskin

Through endless vision questing and a transfixation on multidimensionality, combining symbolic imagery with deep memory and aligning with the Alloneness of our Sacred Source.. David represents this altarworldly journey Through a lens which acknowledges simultaneously infinite largeness and infinite smallness His paintings always illuminate deeper synchronicity than premeditation would allow for, achieved by stepping out of the way and into the Way, becoming a channel for Pure Creativity to pour forth

Roman Villagrana

Roman Villagrana creates art as a campaign to inspire visionary community, setting out to influence others to create by portraying a universal and harmonic culture he calls "Tribe13" is his mission. Believing in the representation of myth creating reality powered by faith is his message. Art to him is a reflection of life and it's infinite potential. Roman has help bring forth Tribe13 and the Interdimensional Art Movement as platforms for visionary community building and harmonic culture manifesting and hosts the annual Interdimensional Art Show in Seattle showcasing leading visionary art, music and fashion from around the world. You can see Roman at art shows or live performance painting at conscious events throughout the west coast and abroad including Canada and England. Check out www.artbyroman.com for schedules and booking.

Tom Griffin

Tom has enjoyed art in one form or another for most of his life. His paintings have a dream like quality to them much like the childhood he remembers. Some of his paintings are as simple as a flower with a butterfly and others are more complex with deeper spiritual feeling and meaning.

What excites Tom most about creating art is the knowing that every brush stroke has the potential for something amazing. This is also the manner in which he chooses to live his life. Tom hopes that his work can bring inspiration to the ones that view it so they can take that and turn it into something for themselves. Tom currently lives amongst the trees on beautiful Whidbey Island with his wife and son where he can still be caught from time to time staring at those big wonderful bumblebees.

Carmel Reyes

Carmel Reyes have been living, loving, painting, and playing in Humboldt County since 1996. My art is highly influenced by the plant, animal, and elemental enregies of Northern California. My art also draws much of it's energy from the local music and dance culture.

Entheogenesis: Awakening the Divine Within
Entheogen

A feature length documentary which invites the viewer to rediscover an enchanted cosmos in the modern world by awakening to the divine within. The film examines the re-emergence of archaic techniques of ecstacy in the modern world by weaving a synthesis of ecological and evolutionary awareness, electronic dance culture, and the current pharmacological re-evaluation of entheogenic compounds. Within a narrative framework that imagines consciousness itself to be evolving, Entheogen documents the emergence of techno-shamanism in the post-modern world that frames the following questions: How can a renewal of ancient initiatory rites of passage alleviate our ecological crisis? What do trance dancing and festivals celebrating unbridled artistic expression speak to in our collective psyche? How do we re-invent ourselves in a disenchanted world from which God has long ago withdrawn? Entheogen invites the viewer to consider that the answers to these questions lie within the consciousness of each and every human being, and are accessible if only we give ourselves permission to awaken to the divine within.

Stan Grof, Marilyn Schlitz, Ralph Metzner, Alex Grey, Terrence McKenna, John Markoff, Daniel Pinchbeck, and Kat Harrison among others, postulate how the disenchantment of the modern world may be remedied by summoning the courage to take the next leap in the evolution of planetary consciousness.

Crossing the Event Horizon - Rise to the Equation
by Nassim Haramein

Crossing the Event HorizonQuantum Scientist, Nassim Haramein shows us that his new all-encompassing theory seems to have parallels with ancient codes left in the world’s oldest documents and monuments. These include the Bible, the Koran, the Torah, the I Ching, the Mayan Tzolkn, and the ancient pyramids and temples around the world. Much like the path taken by Isaac Newton, Haramein’s theory was influenced by his exhaustive study of ancient civilizations, which revealed that they already possessed this knowledge and used it to NAssim Harameinaccomplish many unexplained feats — such as building the Pyramids and constructing Stonehenge. Haramein’s work has far-reaching implications for all fields of scientific enquiry from theoretical physics, cosmology, quantum mechanics, biology, geology and chemistry, archaeology and anthropology as well as fundamental answers to the nature of consciousness. “Rise to the Equation” offers a radically new scientific paradigm and view of the universe — and your existence in it.

Astrological Forecast
2007 Astrology Report for Earthdance

Compiled and Provided for
Earthdance by:

Dusty Park - Founder,
Astrology 3D, Inc.
www.astrology3d.com

Friday September 14th kicks off with a Sun Square Mars that becomes perfect on Saturday. Sun Square Mars creates action, urgency, passion and possible competition. There is a strong tendency for people to live strongly in the moment and in some cases to over react. This is great for passionate connections (which are highly stimulated) but care should be taken to remember to treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.

The Sun is also Opposed to Uranus creating a collective vibe of equality and genuine celebration of the uniqueness of all individual expressions. This is an electric vibe of synchronicity and spontaneity that results in sudden lightning bolt awareness between people, both individual and together.

The Moon will start of in the relationship sign of Libra and quickly move into Scorpio, intensifying feeling and creating breakthrough’s of emotional awareness. The best Sun/Moon focus will occur Sunday at 4pm resulting in the greatest balance of Yin/Yang energy.

At the moment of the Global Link Up on Saturday at 4pm, the Moon will tap into the T-Square of the Sun/Mars and Pluto with the energy of profound transformation and release while at the Zenith in the sky. This years Prayer for Peace will also have the liquid Om and since the Sun, Mars and Pluto are the Energy planets all connecting with action, awareness & transformation, this seed will be planted in all participants at a deep level, ready for focus and use in days ahead.

The Love, Beauty and Pleasure planet Venus is gaining strength all weekend Opposed it’s higher octave, Neptune, creating a super sensitive artistic vibration matching, border dissolving that is ultra romantic and brings out the highest quality of love and acceptance between humans and especially enticing the power and attraction of sex. Venus is also Trining Jupiter which translates into expanded Pleasure perhaps accenting that “too much is not enough” when it comes to Love and Beauty shared.

Mercury will be Trining Neptune and getting stringer all weekend too. This will create an ever more intuitive connection with people and help with understanding beyond words, ultimately enhancing the flow of the sharing of oneness.

Overall this will be a very Positively High Energy event, even by Earthdance standards, and we can all expect to feel the Solar Energy in it’s highly aligned relationship with Pluto and Mars bring out the confidence and resolve for transformative action in the world, which is exactly what Earthdance and been cultivating globally for 11 years now.
