Krew Member Opportunities (Please Check Only ONE (1) Krew that interest you) *

Check-In
Working the front gate checking in staff, crew, artists, etc. (must have clerical experience dealing with Lists and People)

Day Parking
Help welcome and direct cars entering the festival site throughout the festival day and night. (Need to be able to be on feet for extended periods of time and be in the sun while keeping a positive attitude.)

Kamping
Coordinating and directing cars and people to their kamping areas. (Need to be able to stay on feet for extended periods of time and be in the sun)

Hog City Diner
All facets of food service work. (This includes washing dishes.) Ability to follow directions appreciated.

Fire Safety
Watching for and assisting in any fire emergencies. Previous fire control experience preferred.

Fencing
Construction, installation and removal of temporary fences around the property (strong back and ability to follow directions appreciated)

Repsycology
Pick-up and sort garbage and recycling as well as maintain grounds. A big part of the "greening" of Earthdance

Security
Assist the public & staff with needs. Responsible for gate control, maintaining rules and regulations. Maintaining harmony at the festival through peace and respect.

Night Hogz
Overnight security - graveyard.

Town Patrol
A branch of security. Earthdance staff presence in the town of Laytonville - making sure that the local community is being respected and Festival Attendees are directed.

Armadillo
Pet patrol - an arm of security dealing with any animals brought on site illegally

Marketing (Pre Event)
Street team promotion at other events and locations. Help spread the word. Serious applicants only.

Site
Creating and maintaining the infrastructure of the site. This can range from debris removal, moving tables, fixing pipes (strength, technical & mechanical skills appreciated). Flexibility with tasks a must. Pre- and Post- event availability helpful.

Transport
Transporting krew, artists and equipment to various locations within the festival grounds. Must be very reliable. Drivers license required.

I agree to work either:

A) a total of 16 hours during, or
B) a total of 24 hours before and/or after Earthdance 2008
in exchange for one general admission ticket, reserved camping, & an Earthdance 2008 Staff T-shirt.

I will refrain from using alcohol and/or drugs before or during my work shifts, or at any time while wearing my staff shirt.

I understand that:

I understand that the shirt (marked "staff") is my uniform.

I understand that as a crew member, I represent Earthdance and will act in a manner that reflects positively on the event.

I understand that if I don't fulfill my commitment, I owe Earthdance the price of one (1) full weekend ticket, camping, and a T-shirt.

I understand that during the event, I may be filmed, videotaped or photographed by or on behalf of Earthdance or Black Oak Ranch for marketing or commercial purposes. My admission to Earthdance serves as my permission for use of my image without compensationby Earthdance and Black Oak Ranch for any and all future marketing or commercial purposes.

The commercial use of photographic, video and film images of Earthdance is strictly prohibited without the full written consent of Earthdance Northern California.

I understand that my legal name will be on a list at Krew/Staff Check-in for my admittance to the event.

I understand that all Krew Members must have valid state or federally issued photo I.D. at Check-in. Krew Members who do not have valid identification will be denied entry.

** WAIVER: In consideration of participating as a Krew Member at Earthdance, I intend to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims that I may have against the persons or organization affiliated with this project and any and all injuries suffered by traveling to or from or while participating in any Krew Member activity associated with Earthdance and Black Oak Ranch.
