Getting there by Public Transport:
From San Francisco and East Bay:
via Baylink Ferry
From S.F. Ferry Building or PIER 41/ Fisherman’s Wharf, take a BAYLINK ferry to Vallejo. Cost: $13.00 one way or $24.00 same day round trip. The trip takes 1 hour. At the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, catch the #85 Six Flags bus across the street and get off at the Six Flags/Fairgrounds stop. Cost $1.75 or free with same day roundtrip Baylink ticket.
via Bay Area Rapid Transit
Catch the Richmond bound train to the El Cerrito/Del Norte BART station. There pick up the #80 Vallejo bus to the Vallejo Ferry Terminal or on weekends to the Vallejo Transit Station. Cost: $5.00. Ask for a transfer and get on the #85 Six Flags bus. It stops at the Fairgrounds on the Six Flags stop.
From Sacramento or UC Davis:
via Amtrak
Take the Capital Corridor trains (not the often delayed Coast Starlight) buying a ticket all the way to the Vallejo Marine World stop. It will be a train to Martinez and a bus to Six Flags/Fairgrounds. Takes 1 hr and 20 minutes at a cost of $24.00 one way.
via Bus
Take the Fairfield Transit bus #30 from Capital Mall or P St & 9th St in Sacramento or from 3 stop at UC Davis to the Solano Mall or Fairfield Transit Center. Cost: $5.75 one way. The Vallejo/Baylink #85 bus picks up at both locations to the Six Flags/Fairgrounds stop. Cost: $5.00 one way.
From Oakland Airport:
A shuttle bus called AIRBART connects the airport terminal to the Oakland Airport BART station. Catch the Richmond bound train to the El Cerrito/Del Norte BART station. There pick up the #80 Vallejo bus to the Vallejo Ferry Terminal or on weekends to the Vallejo Transit Station. Ask for a transfer and get on the #85 Six Flags bus. It stops at the Fairgrounds on the Six Flags stop. On the return trip, when at the El Cerrito/Del Norte station catch the Fremont bound train, getting off at the stop named Oakland Airport
From SF Airport:
At the SFO BART Station, pick up the PLEASANTON train heading North. The cost is $9.90 to Pleasant Hill or Walnut Creek BART Station. Buy your ticket at the kiosks along the wall. At either station take the #78 to the Vallejo Ferry Terminal leaving every 30 minutes M-F 5:30am-7pm, Saturday every 2 hours 6:30am – 6:30pm, no bus on Sunday. Cost is $4.50 adults and Youth, $2.25 Seniors. Ask for a transfer. At the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, catch the #85 Six Flags bus to the Six Flags/Fairgrounds stop.
From North (Sacramento, Oregon, etc)

Exit Hwy 37 – (towards San Rafael)
Exit Fairgrounds Drive
Turn left onto Fairgrounds Drive
The Fairgrounds entrance is on your left.
From South (San Francisco, Southern California via I-80)
Exit Columbus Parkway, Hwy 37
Go over Freeway
Turn left at Fairgrounds Drive
The Fairgrounds entrance is on your left
From Marin, Sonoma County and Northern California- via Hwy 101.
