Astrology for Earthdance 2011:

Earthdance 2011 brings the starting date back to Libra, where it started in 1997. September 23rd is the Autumnal Equinox and is the focus of the energy of Relationship and Balance. The Sun is opposed Uranus, which accelerates the energy of groups brought together for a common cause & purpose, which is exactly what Earthdance is all about. It also magnifies the energy of spontaneous connections and sudden insights. Both the Sun & Uranus are square Pluto, making this wild group energy more compelling and trans-formative, yet anchored in purpose. Starting with collectively embracing Global Peace, this includes Dynamic Original Self-Expression.

The Moon & Mars, ruling Emotions & Action. are in Leo, the sign of risk taking, pleasure and expression. This is creating a great focus on a collective, un-inhibited good mood. As the Moon is sextile Venus & square Jupiter, this creates very harmonious communications and an emotional urge to expansively express and share the positive vibe among the tribe.
