Craig Kohland/ Shamans Dream
The driving force inside Craig Kohland is the healing rhythm of the drum and the creative expression of the sacred. He is a talented multi-percussionist, performer, DJ, music producer, retreat facilitator and healing arts practitioner.
Shaman’s Dream Music Collective is Craig’s multi-faceted musical project that, along with producers Rara Avis and Amani Friend, has produced 25 albums in the last 15 years and recently launched Yogitunes.com - the digital music download store . Craig has also performed with Krishna Das, Dave Stringer, Donna Delory, Suzanne Sterling, Tina Malia, Jaya Lakshmi, Bluetech, David Starfire, Chris Berry and more. Craig’s team of producers have produced remix projects for Jai Uttal, Deva Premal, Donna Delory, Karsh Kale and many others.
Since 1995 Shaman’s Dream has been at the forefront of the yoga music/ ecstatic dance scene. Craig is the musical director of the “Shaman’s Dream World Groove Ensemble” and along with yoga teacher Micheline Berry has co-facilitated over 400 ecstatic dance/ “live” world music concerts plus countless live music yoga classes and ritual retreats.
Craig is also the co-founder of Yogitunes - the digital music download store for the yoga world and beyond.
