KK Ledford, MA
KK is a Certified Anusara® yoga teacher who grew up in the forests of East Texas and is currently based in the bay area and teaches at Yoga Tree San Francisco. She has been teaching Anusara since 1998. KK has devoted 18 years of study to yogic arts and the mysteries of consciousness, and brings to her work a Master's degree in Feminist Theology, an astrological perspective, and an outlook steeped in Nature-based spirituality. With a quirky sense of humor and fierce dedication she combines yoga, astrology, and authentic embodiment in her teachings. She inspires students to work hard and deepen their commitment to sadhana, awakening to their own radical splendor.
In addition to public and private classes, she facilitates ceremonies for women and officiates weddings. KK has been featured on the cover of Yoga Journal and Where Magazine, with appearances in Yoga Journal, Common Ground, Elephant Journal, 7x7. She is currently a columnist for Origin Magazine.
