PRAANG was born in Denver, CO in 2006 when Michael Travis and Jason Han (String Cheese, EOTO) and Jamie Janover (ZILLA) joined legendary guitarist Steve Kimock for a one off show. With no plan, no rehearsal and not even any discussion the 4 musicians proceeded to lay down a new musical path none had traversed before. PRAANG was born. Praang creates improvised sets using cutting edge technology to create truly original and melodic dance music in the moment, with the undeniable power of live drums. The music is all created on the spot to create an ever evolving musical experience.
