STEVIE BARSOTTI

Stevie Barsotti plays original shamanic folk songs and has worked in Bay Area bands for over 30 years as a guitarist, bassist and singer. His guitar playing includes elements of flamenco, blues, rock and jazz and his vocal style ranges from airy and reedy to gritty and full-throated. He feels a strong connection to spirit through nature and he uses this connection to bring the spirit of nature into his music. Stevie played with Country Joe McDonald for over 15 years and is currently doing solo gigs in California, Oregon and Hawaii.
