Honeymoon is CA based and making waves up and down the West Coast. honeymoon has a wondrous Folk/Americana sound with Appalachian-stylings. There is quite a legit buzz brewing on the honeymoon front, much of it thanks to their angelic 4-part female harmonies. They have been touring with Jackie Greene and Truth & Salvage Company this year, plus 2010 shows with Mary Chapin Carpenter, Ray Lamontagne, Joan Osborne, and The Mother Hips.

Phil Lesh said to them recently at one of the shows they've done with Jackie Greene, that their music is critically important and the music of “Goddesses and Sirens”. The sound is infectious; 4-part female harmonies that are equal parts spellbinding and other-worldly. Plus unique acoustic instrumentation featuring violins, accordion, acoustic guitars, keys, ukulele, & banjo.

honeymoon just released their debut ep entitled "After the Flood" in late October with an epic sold out show at Henry Miller Library in Big Sur. Also, in April they were voted Best New Band of Monterey County in the Monterey County Weekly- very exciting things happening in the honeymoon world!
